**NEW INTER-REGIONAL CHAMPION**

Kyle Ashmore defeats 'Hitman' Gabriel Myers (w/ PT Player) by pinfall

Before the contest began, UKPW Inter-Regional Champion, The Nail, came to the ring and grabbed a microphone. The Nail informed the crowd that he recently picked up an injury that will leave him unable to compete for the foreseeable future. As as result, The Nail has chosen to relinquish the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship. The winner of this opening contest will become the new champion. As the contest began, Myers was reluctant to engage with Ashmore, who has been on a impressive run in UKPW. Despite brief control, Ashmore was continually distracted by PT Player, allowing Myers to take control. Eventually, The Nail punched PT Player in the face (met by a giant cheer from the audience) and Ashmore picked up the win and was crowned the NEW champion!

Match 2

Singles Match

Sammy Smooth defeats Adam Mansfield by disqualification

Mansfield, a veteran of British Wrestling, took early advantage in the contest over a very young Smooth. Smooth took control after a knee to Mansfield head and held his own for a significant period. In the closing stages, Mansfield's comeback was stifled when the referee was squashed in the corner by both men. While the referee was on the floor, Smooth quickly grabbed a chair from the audience, slammed the chair on the ground, threw it at Mansfield and laid on the floor. When they referee came too, he saw Mansfield holding a chair and a (supposedly) hurt Smooth pretending Mansfield used the chair! The referee disqualified Mansfield and Smooth picked up a sneaky victory.

Match 4

Singles Match

Chris Wyld defeats Scott Star by pinfall

Scott Star aimed to make a statement against the stronger and more experienced opponent across the ring; Chris Wyld. Wyld led the opening portion of the contest with his impressive wrestling skill. Star soon gained control by using his speed and agility to overwhelm Wyld. However, Star's high risk offense was his downfall as he crashed and burned when attempting to hit his top rope Wrecking Ball maneuver (which Wyld dodged), allowing Wyld to take advantage and pick up the win.

Match 5

Singles Match

Dow Jones defeats CJ Gunner by pinfall

This contest was all over the place! What started with Dow leaving the ring in frustration due to the "Willy Wonker!" chants, quickly became a contest of lunacy! A few highlights:

  • Dow mistakenly pins the referee
  • CJ grabs Dow while children start slapping and punching Dow in the face

Sanity was ultimately restored when CJ took the action back to the ring. CJ was in control for the majority of the contest, however, after bending the referee's leniency to his advantage, Dow was able to hit his Credit Crunch maneuver to pick up the win.

**NEW UKPW CHAMPION**

James Mason defeats 'Mr Hollywood' Shane Stevens by pinfall

Tonight, the first ever UKPW Champion was going to be crowned. Both Mason and Stevens qualified for this match by winning their matches in Blackheath the week before. Mason was raring to go, but 'Mr Hollywood' took him time on the outside of the ring. This contest was evenly matched throughout; Mason's expertise against Stevens' sheer power. Towards the end of the bout, Stevens gained control with an extra gear of aggression. This was certainly the toughest test the undefeated Stevens had faced. However, his anger became his downfall when Mason took advantage of a momentary lapse in judgement, allowing Mason to execute a second rope Crossbody for the pinfall win! Mason has been crowned the first-ever UKPW CHAMPION!
