'Trashman' Marcus Broome defeats 'Doorman' Dom Taylor by pinfall
Two of UKPW's top competitors squared off in this opening contest. Taylor was reluctant to get involved with 'Trashman' after Broome's chaotic offense. 'doorman' turned the tides through his sheer power advantage, but in the final moments it was anyone's contest. Finally, 'Trashman' pulled off an impressive Fisherman's Suplex to score the pinfall. A well fought bout by both athletes.
Dow Jones defeats CJ Gunner by pinfall
In a follow up from their 3-Way match with 'Hitman' Gabriel Myers last time in Teynham, CJ looked to make up for his pinfall loss to Dow Jones. With an unusually technical start from Dow Jones, CJ began to take the upper hand. Noticing this, Dow reverted to using a cheap shot to take the advantage. CJ, remember Dow's tactic from last time, reversed a number of maneuvers and took the fight to Dow (who tried to leave the ring on a number of occasions). Ultimately, Dow misdirected the referee's attention by bringing his tie into the ring (then low blowing CJ when the referee took it away). A sneaky win for Dow once again.
KIN (Remy Casanova/Theodore Powers) defeats 'Hitman' Gabriel Myers & 'Lord' Ian Loveless by pinfall
The more experienced duo of Loveless & Myers took early control with a slow beatdown. After some miscommunication from Loveless & Myers, KIN capitalised with a flurry of offense. The current Tag Team Champions couldn't halt KIN's momentum and Loveless was pinned! KIN told hold of the championships and celebrated their win!
However, in a controversial turn of events, Loveless & Myers pointed out that Loveless was merely a replacement for 'Mr Hollywood', and was therefore in no position to defend the titles. After complaining and threatening on-site UKPW management, the decision was made that this contest was NOT for the championships. KIN had to give to give the belts back this evening but were told that they will have a championship match in Gillingham. And, if 'Mr Hollywood' didn't attend, KIN would be crowned the new UKPW Tag Team Champions!
Steve Manelli defeats Stevie James by submission
UKPW original Stevie James makes his Teynham debut against the British Wrestling veteran, Steve Manelli. James' sportmanship was exploited by Manelli, who used every dirty tactic in the book. Despite a flurry from James, Manelli hooked James in a single-leg Boston Crab (using added leverage from the ropes) to cause the submission.
Kyle Ashmore defeats 'The Brixton Punk' Sam Irvine by pinfall, retaining the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship
'The Brixton Punk' aimed to capture the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship and end Ashmore's impressive reign. Irvine was vicious from the offset as he could not match Ashmore's athleticism. In the closing minutes, Irvine shoved Ashmore into the referee, knocking Senior Official Martin Raymondson to the ground. Irvine quickly grabbed the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship belt and hit Ashmore with it! Ironically, the referee was unable to make a fast count, allowing Ashmore to kick out. The tables then turned, allowing Ashmore to hit a running Shooting Star Press to win the contest and retain his championship! Ashmore earned Irvine's respect, who gave the champion a round of applause after the contest.
