UKPW Rampage 2016

Match 1

4-Way Match

Sammy Smooth defeats Cieran Donnelly, Danny Duggan, and Scott Star, retaining the UKPW Inter-Regional Championship

Scott Star came to the ring on crutches, claiming his ankle was injured and that his competitors should take it easy on him. While Donnelly & Duggan's guard lowered, Star attacked them hit his crutches, causing the referee to ring the bell to start the match. These four men know each other very well (with Donnelly & Duggan being the current UKPW Tag Team Champions: D&D.) It was blink-and-you'll-miss-it action from the offset. Donnelly & Duggan refused to fight one another throughout the contest, which was often exploited by Smooth. In the closing moments, Star attempted to use a crutch on Smooth, however this backfired, allowing Smooth to hit his Smooth Driver and pick up the victory. A fantastic opening match!

Match 2

Tag Team Match

Kyle Ashmore & 'Trashman' Marcus Broome defeats 'Doorman' Dom Taylor & Dow Jones by pinfall

Dow was reluctant to physically engage with Ashmore, tagging Taylor into the contest whenever Ashmore entered the ring. Jones & Taylor took early control, isolating 'Trashman' in a coordinated beatdown. After causing some separation, 'Trashman' made the tag to a fired-up Ashmore, who took his frustration out on Ashmore. It seemed like Ashmore finally got his hands on Dow, but Taylor cut him off before he could punish Dow for cutting off Senior Official Martin Raymondson's beard at the last show. Finally, in a impressive series of aerial maneuvers, Ashmore pinned Taylor after a top rope Senton for the win.

Match 3

Singles Match

'Mr Legit' Erin Smith defeats 'The Brixton Punk' Sam Irvine (w/ The Tycoon) by pinfall

This contest was heated grudge match between the former members of Punk Out, Erin Smith and Sam Irvine. Irvine attacked Smith at the last event, and Erin was looking for payback. Before the contest began, the Tycoon took the microphone and told the audience that the Brawl Street Strikers (Alexander Roth/Sam Irvine) will dominate UKPW. Smith then came to the ring, guns blazing, and immediately brawled with Irvine. Thanks to some assistance from The Tycoon, Irvine took the advantage early. The Tycoon's master plan soon backfired, as Smith, in a feat of unbelievable strength, placed The Tycoon AND Irvine on his shoulder for a double Samoan Drop to win the contest! This was a war.

After the contest, Alexander Roth appeared and started attacking Smith! D&D (Cieran Donnelly/Danny Duggan) ran to the ring to make the save.

Match 4

Singles Match

James Mason defeats 'Lord' Ian Loveless (w/ James Earls) by pinfall

Earls and Loveless were visibly hesitant to engage with the British Wrestling veteran, James Mason. The second Mason mounted any form of offense, Loveless fled to the security of the outside, often running to Earls to discuss strategy. During a flurry from Mason, Earls managed to tap Mason's heel, causing Mason to trip over and creating an opening for Loveless. Earls exploited the numbers advantage, taking a swing at Mason whenever the referee's attention diverted. Ultimately, Earls and Loveless' plan backfired when Earls entered the ring and landed on Loveless by mistake. Mason took quick advantage of their miscommunication, scoring a pinfall from a diving Crossbody.
